UGC NET December 2024 registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the registration for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 will close tomorrow. This examination determines eligibility for roles such as Junior Research Fellowship, Assistant Professorship, and Ph.D. admissions in Indian universities and colleges. Candidates must submit their examination fees by December 11 to complete their applications.
The correction window for rectifying submitted applications will be open from December 12 to 13, allowing candidates to make necessary updates.

UGC NET December 2024 Mode and pattern of the exam
The test will be conducted entirely in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format, comprising two sections of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Paper I: Marks: 100

Purpose: To assess teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.Paper II: Marks: 200
Questions: 100
Purpose: To evaluate the candidate’s knowledge in the selected subject.
Both papers will be completed within a single three-hour session without a break.
